Cooking at Home
- I rarely eat out. I cook and eat at home.
- There are pros and cons to cooking at home.
- Pros
- It's cheaper than eating out in terms of nominal cost.
- This is excluding the labor that goes into cooking.
- I have more freedom over what I eat.
- I can customize however I want. I can add more of the ingredients I like and make a variety of dishes to my taste.
- Since I'm at home, I can eat in a comfortable environment.
- I can do whatever I want while eating - watch YouTube, movies - and there's no set time I have to eat by.
- It's cheaper than eating out in terms of nominal cost.
- Cons
- Rain or shine, day or night, I have to prepare everything from start to finish, even when I don't feel like it.
- I have to source and prep all the ingredients myself.
- I have to do the dishes.
- Doing the dishes is still a pain, but it's manageable if I wash them as I go instead of letting them pile up.
