Meaningful Writing

• What does meaningful writing mean to me?
  • Lately, I've lost much of my drive to write. This is a piece I'm writing to explore that.
  • Here, "meaningful writing" is essentially the same as "writing that has value".
• It must contain my own genuine thoughts.
  • Summarizing an article holds no meaning for me. What matters is recording how I felt and what I thought after reading it.
• It must be helpful to someone.
  • Whether it's me at the time of writing, another reader, or my future self, there should be something to gain from reading it.
